Ceret South of France

These are watercolours painted from photographs I took while on holiday last year in the delightful town of Ceret where many famous artists including Piccaso worked. I was trying to create the atmosphere of the dark street cafe culture caused by high close buildings and the high canopy of trees.

  1. Hello Alan
    Glad your up and running.
These painting looks very continental, I love the loosness and light of the larger one
The blog looks great and I`m looking forward to seeing more of your work
